Come Join Us To Prepare For Spring!!
Introducing California Native Bulbs

dafodilsbg6

Each fall 30,000 daffodil bulbs are planted with the help of hundreds of volunteers in all ten San Jose City Council Districts.Come Join Us To Prepare For Spring!! Do you have a community group looking for a one day project in the fall?

We invite schools neighborhoods, and other communities to participate on this year’s planting day, Saturday, November 3, 2007.

This year we will distribute 30,000 daffodil bulbs with a large contribution from OSH. This is added to the 270,000 already planted in the last ten years.

Daffodils have been planted to beautify school grounds, youth centers, senior centers and parks throughout the city

Upon request and availability, daffodil bulbs are distributed to schools, neighborhood associations, youth centers, scout troops, and park beautification groups. This is a citywide community spirit project. The results are heartwarming.
