Monopoly in the Park!

There's nothing like it anywhere in the world. At 930 square feet, this incredible rendition of a worldwide favorite pastime has the exclusive authorization of Parker Brothers. It's presented in a beautiful public setting that includes a theme garden, plans for an amphitheater, and promises to be a great recreational draw for the "Captiol of Silicon Valley."

Monopoly in The Park is brought to you by Friends of San Jose Beautiful, a non-profit group formed to support the projects of San Jose Beautiful, who works hard to improve your city, parks and neighborhoods.

Monopoly in the Park will turn Guadalupe River Park into a place the whole family can enjoy. It will help attract  visitors from other areas, enrich our local economy, and serve as a great venue for Friends of San Jose Beautiful to raise money to augment community grants, educational programs and other worthwhile community activities.

General Sponsorship

You can get into the game as a general sponsor. Monetary donations will help to establish the surrounding gardens, recreation area and amphitheater. Friends of San Jose Beautiful is also looking for donations of services and materials that can help the project move ahead. This includes:

  • Contractors (electrical, plumbing, masonry/cement, landscape)
  • Plants and Planting Materials
  • Signage
  • Desktop Publishing & Design
  • Printing
  • Sales
  • Administrative/Clerical

All donations are welcome. All donors, $500 and up, will be recognized on the Donor Wall at Monopoly in The Park, a highly visible monument showing the support you've provided for beautifying San Jose.
